Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics Spring Edition 2025 set for March 11-13

Following the resounding success of its Spring and Autumn Editions in 2024, Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics is gearing up for another exciting event. The upcoming Spring Edition will take place from March 11-13, 2025, at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai).

This year's fair will feature an expanded range of offerings, including the Intertextile Directions Trend Forum for Spring/Summer 2026, the return of the Econogy Hub and Digital Solutions Zone, and a comprehensive fringe program. Key themes for the event include fashionable fabrics and accessories, functional fashion, sustainability, digital transformation, industry trends, and design.

Wilmet Shea, General Manager of Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, expressed enthusiasm for the upcoming show, stating, "Our two shows this year attracted nearly 8,000 exhibitors from 29 countries and regions, offering a vast array of products to international buyers. Intertextile is more than just a sourcing platform; it's a hub for discovering the latest trends, innovations, and industry insights."

The Econogy Hub, a dedicated zone for sustainable products and services, will make a return following its successful debut in the autumn edition. Econogy Talks and the Econogy Finder tool will also be available to connect buyers with eco-focused suppliers. These initiatives align with Messe Frankfurt's global sustainability concept, Texpertise Econogy.

The Digital Solutions Zone will showcase a variety of digital tools, including design systems, software, AI-powered fabric search, AI pattern generation, and 3D visualization tools. Other key zones at the fair include Accessories Vision, Beyond Denim, Digital Printing Zone, Functional Lab, Premium Wool Zone, SalonEurope, and Verve for Design.

Both the Spring and Autumn Editions in 2024 witnessed significant increases in overseas participation, reflecting the industry's resilience post-pandemic. Participants from countries enjoying China's visa-free policy, such as Belgium, France, Spain, and Switzerland, experienced substantial growth in attendance.

The fair is co-organized by Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, the Sub-Council of Textile Industry, CCPIT, and the China Textile Information Centre. It will be held alongside Yarn Expo Spring, Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles – Spring Edition, CHIC, and PH Value at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai).
