Karl Mayer unveils energy saving tech for knitting machines
The Karl Mayer Group is helping warp knitting companies achieve greater sustainability and cost savings with their new energy efficiency solution. This digital innovation, accessible via the KM.ON platform, provides real-time data on energy usage for individual machines and entire fleets.
The solution offers historical energy analysis, report generation, and automated heating control, empowering companies to make informed decisions for reducing energy consumption, electricity costs, and carbon dioxide emissions. Initial tests indicate a potential monthly energy saving of 5 per cent to 10 per cent.
The solution is constantly being optimized based on customer feedback. Future updates will include recommendations for further energy cost and carbon dioxide reduction, along with improved machine condition monitoring services. Visitors can experience the Energy Efficiency Solution firsthand at the ITM fair in Istanbul (June 4-8) and the ITMA ASIA + CITME show in Shanghai (October 14-18).
