KM.ON unveils DPM at ITM 2024

KM.ON is showcasing its new DPM software at ITM 2024 in Istanbul. Designed to improve transparency, control, and optimization across warp knitting production, DPM garnered strong interest at its initial presentation at ITMA 2023.

Building on customer feedback, KM.ON focused on data quality and expanded reporting capabilities in this update. Home View now displays key production process values, including Machine Speed, Output & Efficiency, and Activity Reports. Additionally, a new shopfloor input device allows operators to record machine-related activities, providing a more comprehensive picture.

While advanced features like production planning are planned for future releases, the initial focus prioritizes the core needs of major textile markets like Turkey and China.

Yevgeniya Nedilko, Cluster Lead Operational Excellence at KM.ON, explained that the company strategically chose to prioritize depth over breadth in their development. Emphasizing the high demand for robust reporting and shopfloor transparency, they focused on addressing these critical needs first.

Future plans include production planning, yarn management, and ERP integration. Customers can learn more and request a consultation through the KM.ON sales team. Trial versions are also available for on-site testing.
