Lenzing, Asahi Kasei, and Kaihara Denim have joined forces to create Saisei Collection, a premium stretch denim collection made with recycled materials. The partnership aims to offer the market a more sustainable denim option.

The collection uses Lenzing Ecovero branded viscose fibers with Refibra technology and Roica EF recycled stretch yarn. Kaihara Denim's renowned craftsmanship ensures high quality. The fabrics will be showcased at Kingpins Amsterdam on October 23-24, 2024.

Dennis Hui, Global Business Development Manager at Lenzing, emphasized the importance of this partnership in driving denim circularity. Hiroaki Shinohe, Chief Marketing Officer of Roica Europe, highlighted Asahi Kasei's commitment to sustainability and the benefits of Roica EF yarns.

The collection offers three distinct denim fabrications: super stretch, comfort stretch, and low stretch. Each fabric is made with a unique blend of recycled materials, providing a soft, comfortable feel. The versatility of the fabrics opens up new possibilities for fashion designers and brands.

Hirofumi Inagaki, Executive Officer at Kaihara Denim, expressed excitement about the partnership and the potential to create a more sustainable future for denim. The Saisei Collection represents a significant step towards a more circular fashion value chain.
