Pakistan’s Ibrahim Fibres and Truetzschler collaborate to master long fiber carding

Ibrahim Fibres, a leading Pakistani textile manufacturer, has successfully produced high-quality yarns from extra-long polyester and lyocell fibers on optimized TC 30Si carding machines, developed in close collaboration with Truetzschler.
The partnership leveraged Truetzschler's expertise to overcome the challenges of processing these long fibers, which tend to wrap and clog carding elements. Key modifications included a larger drum diameter for increased carding length and enhanced carding elements specifically designed for manmade fibers
This collaboration underscores Ibrahim Fibres commitment to innovation, utilizing Industry 4.0 principles and the latest technology to improve production efficiency and yarn quality. The successful implementation of the optimized TC 30Si machines demonstrates the value of strong partnerships in driving advancements in the textile industry.
