Premier unveils eco-friendly fabrics for digital printing

Premier Digital Textiles, a leader in digitally prepared fabrics, launched two sustainable innovations at FESPA 2024.

The first is a 100 per cent recycled cotton, perfect for digital printing applications like clothing, crafts, and tote bags. Made from pre-consumer waste, this cotton reduces environmental impact.

The second is a revolutionary biodegradable polyester. This fabric aims to tackle microfibre pollution and synthetic waste by degrading in landfills like natural materials.

These innovations were showcased alongside various printing machines at FESPA, highlighting their compatibility with digital printing technology.

Premier Digital Textiles, led by Nick Smith, is committed to pushing boundaries in the textile industry. Their new products combine sustainability with cutting-edge technology. It is a champion of sustainable and high-quality textiles, and they plan to bring these exciting new products to market soon.

FESPA is a key industry event for sharing ideas and fostering collaboration. Smith believes this year's expo emphasized the importance of sustainable practices within the textile printing industry.
