Rajasthan-based Lagnam Spintex’s capacity expansion boosts its yarn business
Lagnam Spintex, a Rajasthan-based textile company, saw its shares increase 15 per cent to hit the upper circuit, after it announced the commencement of commercial production at its expanded manufacturing plant months ahead of schedule.
The company invested Rs 218 crore to double its production capacity from 35 tons to 70 tons per day by installing new spindles for producing 100 per cent cotton "Compact Yarn."
During trial production, Lagnam Spintex sold approximately 3,700 metric tons of yarn worth Rs 92 crore to leading domestic corporates and exported several containers overseas. Exports accounted for over 45 per cent of total turnover from the new capacity.

Mangal emphasized the diversified product portfolio would attract large corporate clients in India and abroad, offering cost advantages.
