RSWM wins Silver Award at Financial Express Green Sarathi Awards for sustainable practices

RSWM Ltd, the flagship company of the LNJ Bhilwara Group, has been honored with the Silver Award in the ‘Sustainable Fashion and Textile’ category at the prestigious Financial Express Green Sarathi Awards. The company’s ‘Redefining Sustainability - Mapping Initiatives for a Greener Tomorrow’ campaign, which focuses on minimizing environmental impact and driving sustainable innovation, received special recognition.

RSWM's sustainability efforts include the use of renewable energy, with 20 MW of wind power, 40 MW additional wind capacity, and a 32 MW in-house solar plant. By 2025, the company plans to power 75 per cent of its operations using biofuels, having already reduced carbon emissions by 800,000 metric tons annually. RSWM also uses organic cotton, recycled cotton, and recycled polyester, emphasizing eco-friendly sourcing and reducing dependence on virgin resources.

Additionally, the company practices zero-waste, recycling fiber waste, and adheres to a Zero Liquid Discharge policy for water conservation. RSWM’s sustainable practices are certified by GOTS, OEKO-TEX Standard 100, and ISO 14001:2015. With a goal to achieve 50 per cent energy from sustainable sources by 2035, RSWM continues its commitment to sustainability, resource efficiency, and community development.
