Rudra Ecovation and Shiva Texfab lead at Global Recycling Conclave

At the recent Global Conclave on Plastics Recycling and Sustainability (GCPRS) in New Delhi, Rudra Ecovation and Shiva Texfab, leaders in sustainable plastic recycling, made a significant impact. Held from July 4 to 7, 2024, and organized by the All India Plastic Manufacturers’ Association (AIPMA) and the Chemicals and Petrochemicals Association (CPMA), the event highlighted trends and opportunities in plastic recycling, drawing global industry leaders.

Major brands are increasingly committing to recycled materials, boosting demand for high-quality recycled products. Rudra Ecovation and Shiva Texfab’s state-of-the-art facility in Ludhiana, one of Asia’s largest integrated plastic recycling plants, positions them as key suppliers. They showcased products like Anaura (rPET Fabric), non-woven items, home furnishings, filament yarn, spun yarn, and innovative acoustic panels, all made from 100 per cent recycled waste.

Currently expanding, the companies are investing in new technology for rPET fabric and non-woven carpet printing, aiming to create "Make in India" alternatives to Chinese imports. They are also integrating AI to enhance manufacturing precision for international standards.

Rudra Ecovation recycles up to 8.8 million plastic bottles daily, preventing 145,525 metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions annually. The company’s comprehensive recycling process, from waste collection to high-performance end products, highlights their significant contribution to environmental sustainability.

Ishani Malhotra, Chief Marketing Officer of Rudra Ecovation Ltd., highlighted that the interest and inquiries received underscore the industry's growing commitment to sustainable practices.
