Sagar achieves breakthrough in yarn quality with Uster FiberQ

Sagar Manufacturers, a leading Indian spinner, generated over 2,000 laydowns in a year using Uster FiberQ, delivering consistent yarn quality and optimized efficiency. The automated raw material management system provided a payback period of just three months, with improvements including better fiber utilization, fewer defects, and enhanced production efficiency.

FiberQ has enabled Sagar to eliminate issues like white specks, barre, and Classimat faults, contributing to enhanced customer satisfaction through the production of larger, uniform yarn lots.

Uster’s end-to-end system has increased yarn realization by 0.3-0.5 percent, streamlined processes by eliminating manual tasks, and enhanced fabric quality. Saini reaffirmed Sagar’s decision to renew the FiberQ and 360Q subscription, highlighting their value in driving operational excellence.
