Sateri unveils next-gen sustainable fibers at China’s Yarn Expo 2025

At the 2025 International Yarn Exhibition (Yarn Expo Spring) held in Shanghai from March 11-13, Sateri showcased its latest range of eco-friendly fiber innovations. As a leading manmade cellulose fiber producer, the company highlighted its commitment to sustainability and innovation through products like Sateri Lyocell, the EcoCosy series, and Finex recycled fiber.
Sateri collaborated with 15 downstream yarn companies to establish the Sateri Fiber Alliance Pavilion, spotlighting cutting-edge applications and a multi-dimensional product lineup. A key feature was the revamped EcoCosy line, now including EcoCosy Thin Soft an ultra-fine, durable fiber designed for high-speed spinning and soft-touch textiles.
The company also highlighted Sateri Lyocell, known for strength, versatility, and its eco-friendly manufacturing. With a planned annual capacity of 400,000 tons by 2025, Sateri aims to become a global lyocell leader. Fibrillation-resistant solutions such as the CL Series Lyocell and Fiber Lock Technology were also presented, addressing common industry challenges in fabric quality.
Closing the showcase, Sateri introduced Finex, a recycled fiber made from post-consumer textile waste, now RCS-certified and capable of containing up to 50 per cent recycled content reinforcing its role in advancing circular economy practices in the textile industry.
