SaXcell and Birla Cellulose showcase recycled fibers at PV Paris.
At PV Paris, textile recycling leader SaXcell and major fibre producer Birla Cellulose presented their collaborative effort in producing recycled fibres. SaXcell's innovative technology, combined with Birla's expertise, resulted in high-quality "SaXcell" fibres displayed at the Birla Cellulose booth.
This partnership aims to address the textile industry's environmental challenges. Süleyman Kocasert, CMO of SaXcell, highlights the importance of global collaboration to transition from a linear to a circular economy. He emphasizes the significant impact their combined forces can create.
Aspi Patel, Chief Technology Officer of Aditya Birla Group and Birla Cellulose, reaffirms their commitment to supporting innovators in expanding circular fibre offerings. He sees such partnerships as crucial to accelerating circularity in the global textile industry.
SaXcell's technology recycles used textiles into feedstock for new fibres, requiring less water, land, and chemicals. They plan to expand by building a Small-Scale Production plant in 2024.

Birla Cellulose, known for its sustainable practices, uses recycled materials and conserves resources in its production processes. Their fibres are made from renewable wood and have lower carbon emissions and resource consumption. They actively collaborate with partners to further enhance sustainability within their value chain.
