Sudwolle Group's Biella Yarn has launched its Spring/Summer 2026 collection, ‘Imperfect Elegance,’ drawing inspiration from the Japanese art of Kintsugi. This collection celebrates imperfections, embracing flaws and seams as unique elements of beauty.

Showcased at Pitti Filati, the collection features Merino wool yarns, luxurious blends with silk and innovative blends with PBT, ideal for crafting light and airy garments. The color palette reflects summer sunsets with vibrant pinks, reds, oranges, and yellows, complemented by aquatic greens, blues, and neutrals.

The collection highlights the renowned Brisbane Nm 2/60 and OTW Opal Nm 2/60 Merino wool yarns, alongside Katherine Nm 2/48 and Microfiamma Seta NM 3700 silk blends, and Beacon Nm 44/2 and Barrier Nm 54/2 PBT blends.

The collection also reintroduces the Linus Nm 2/50 Merino Wool and Linen blend with a vibrant new color palette. MRC Knitwear Research Studio has developed minimalist designs for summer tops, dresses, polo shirts, and trousers, showcasing the collection's potential for light and delicate creations. The ‘Imperfect Elegance’ collection encourages knitters and designers to embrace imperfections and create unique and artistic pieces, stitch by stitch.
