Sympatex showcases sustainablility at Performance Days Munich.

German membrane manufacturer Sympatex will be at Performance Days Munich from March 20-21 highlighting its commitment to innovation, sustainability, and collaboration. Sympatex will unveil three new apparel products made with e.dye, a solution-dyed polyester system that significantly reduces water, chemical, and carbon dioxide emissions compared to traditional dyeing. This collaboration marks a shift towards more environmentally friendly textile production.

A Sympatex laminate made from 100 per cent recycled Tokyo Fiber2Fiber Spring AS will be featured in the trend forum fabrics section. This innovative yarn is made from pre- and post-consumer waste, showcasing a viable alternative to traditional polyester derived from plastic bottles.

Sympatex will participate in the Footwear Pecha Kuchas, offering insights on sustainable footwear development. They will also raffle off a spot in their "Sustainability Impact Program," a training program for young designers focused on responsible design practices.

The company emphasizes the importance of collaboration in driving sustainable innovation. They will highlight their partnerships with e.dye and DMIx, a digital platform facilitating real-time collaboration between brands and suppliers.
