Pankaj Kapoor, Green Consulting, discussed climate change’s impact on textiles and upcoming ESG deadlines. IIT Delhi’s Abhijit Majumder showcased successful post-consumer textile recycling experiments.
TUV SUD’s Sutantu Goswami urged ethical sourcing and production, while CDP’s Sanya Arora highlighted disclosure as a business necessity. NITRA experts presented research on optimizing recycled cotton usage in yarn manufacturing. The event concluded with a shared commitment to improved recycling infrastructure, transparent supply chains, and stronger sustainability policies.
