Texhibition Istanbul 2024 to spotlight yarn innovation and sustainability

The sixth edition of Texhibition Istanbul, to be held from September 11-13, 2024, will highlight the global textile industry’s focus on yarn, innovation, and sustainability. Organized by ITKIB Fuarcılık AS in cooperation with the Istanbul Textile Exporters Association (ITHIB), the event will host around 25,000 visitors from over 100 countries.

A key feature this year is the expanded Yarn Area, with 41 exhibitors including Karafiber, Iskur, and Karteks, showcasing the latest developments in yarn production. This focus on yarn highlights Turkiye’s role as a leader in the global textile supply chain, especially in sustainable production practices.

Texhibition will also feature the BlueBlackDenim section, where top brands like Bossa and İskur will showcase innovative denim products with an emphasis on sustainability. The Texhibition Trend Areas, curated by creative director Idil Tarzi will showcase latest trends in yarn and fabric, with a particular focus on sustainable and recycled materials.

The event will also host seminars and discussions on industry trends, sustainability, and innovation, with expert speakers addressing key issues shaping the future of textiles. With Turkiye’s textile exports reaching around $12 billion in 2023, Texhibition Istanbul continues to strengthen its position as a vital hub for the global textile industry.
