Trutzschler India has set up a new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Sanand, near Ahmedabad, marking a major step in its commitment to sustainability and global competitiveness. The new plant replaces the company’s earlier facility in Ahmedabad and aims to increase operational efficiency, innovation, and green manufacturing.

Spanning 164,000 sq. mt. with a built-up area of 72,000 sq. mt. the Sanand plant employs over 1,000 people and serves both domestic and international markets. It specializes in spinning preparation machinery, card clothing, and nonwoven solutions.

The plant is built to rigorous environmental standards, with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 50001 certifications. It has solar energy systems, rainwater harvesting, EV charging stations, and AI-driven operations. Aiming for a gold rating from the Indian Green Building Council, it reflects Trutzschler’s focus on eco-conscious production.

The facility also includes a modern Customer Training Center and an upgraded Trutzschler Training Academy, supporting the Skill India Mission and advancing industry talent development. CEO Joseph Thomson said the Sanand plant will help meet growing global demand through sustainable innovation.
