Vardhman Textiles reports 31.44% rise in Q3 FY25 profits

Vardhman Textiles reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 210.61 crore for Q3 FY25, a 31.44 per cent year-on-year (YoY) increase. Revenue from operations grew 5.83 per cent YoY to Rs 2,465.30 crore, with robust performance in the textiles and acrylic fibre segments.
Profit before tax (PBT) surged 28.85 per cent YoY to Rs 272.54 crore during the quarter. Total expenses rose by 3.09 per cent YoY to Rs 2,272.16 crore, with the cost of materials consumed falling 2.76 per cent to Rs 1,323.20 crore and employee benefit expenses declining 3.08 per cent YoY to Rs 223.03 crore.
The textiles segment reported a 5.03 per cent YoY revenue growth to Rs 2,403.94 crore, while revenue from acrylic fibre jumped 32.14 per cent YoY to Rs 81.78 crore. Total yarn sales increased 4.96 per cent YoY to 66,175 metric tons, though production marginally declined 0.03 per cent YoY to 65,827 metric tons.
Processed fabric sales rose 1.62 per cent YoY to 439 metric tons, while production grew 0.91 per cent to 443 metric tons. However, grey fabric sales and production saw YoY declines of 2.4 per cent and 3.33 per cent, respectively.
