Welspun Group opens new facility in Kutch

Gujarat chief minister Bhupendra Patel inaugurated Welspun Group's new 'Integrated Bed Linen and Terry Towel' project in Anjar. The project is set to be the world's largest towel manufacturing facility within 18 months. CM Patel lauded Kutch's transformation, highlighting the success of initiatives like Rann Utsav and Smritivan. He praised Welspun Group's commitment to women's employment and community welfare through its CSR initiatives.

Industries minister Balwant Singh Rajput emphasized the Gujarat government's focus on women's employment in the textile sector. He expressed optimism about India's journey towards becoming a developed nation with contributions from such projects.

Welspun Group chairman BK Goenka thanked the Gujarat government for their support in Kutch's development and the success of Welspun's initiatives. The event also recognized excellence in various categories, including manufacturing, leadership, and emerging companies.
