Pakistan’s cotton arrivals have reduced significantly by 59 per cent to 2.04 million bales as of September 30, 2024. This marks a sharp decline from the 5.025 million bales recorded during the same period last year, according to data compiled by brokerage house Arif Habib Limited (AHL). The breakdown reveals Sindh province, a key cotton producer, witnessed a 56 per cent decrease in arrivals, reaching 1.31 million bales.
